Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

Loved loved loved going to my orthodontist, who inspired me to pursue orthodontics!

What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

My orthodontist. He was just SO good at what he did. I still get compliments on my smile to this day. And I hope I can do the same for my patients!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

THE SMILES :) Whether it's a smile filled with crooked teeth because a patient is so excited to start their orthodontic treatment or it's a smile with perfectly aligned teeth once a patient has completed their orthodontic treatment, all smiles make me happy!

What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why?

I would like to treat Tom Cruise to see if I can correct his EXTREMELY off center upper midline. But hey, he somehow still gets away with being one of the sexiest men alive!

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?

That we can move teeth! I've moved tens of thousands of teeth and it still amazes me!!! Imagine we were stuck with our teeth the way they naturally came in!?

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I always dreamed of owning a bakery, but I would first have to learn how to bake!

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

Ed Sheeran! Specifically, his song shivers. My daughter LOVES this song and anytime it comes on, yup, she starts grooving!
