What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Treating the cause of a patient's pain and the instant gratification that dentistry offers is uniquely satisfying.

What’s your dream toothpaste flavor? (Be as SPECIFIC as possible. For example: “Banana split, hold the cherries, add sprinkles.”)

Bellini—generous on peach puree

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

I enjoy finishing my day with a good workout. Recently started rock climbing and there is nothing like the final descent to recharge and kick off my weekend.

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

Having multiple fillings/crowns means you have bad teeth. This is not true. Many things factor into having lots of works done. The goal of dental care is to maximize the time you get out of each treatment and minimize number of redos.

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

Florist! Flowers always brought me such joy - colors, texture, scent, and I would love to be surrounded by them.

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

Randomly encountering golden retrievers while walking.
