She earned her DMD from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and completed her residency at Kings County Hospital Center in New York.

However the staff at Tend Capitol Hill completely changed that for me. From the beginning to end ,the experience was exceptional. The front desk staff person was very nice upon entering and even took additional time to assist me at checkout. My hygienist, Damien was so kind, gentle and explained everything to me. My last visit was perfection!
This was truly the best experience I had at a dental office. After all of the many years of dental work I received. The office manager Kim assured me that I was in good hands with her team and Dr. The reception area and office are exclusively high class and in impeccable condition. Chelsea was a doll as she greeted all guests with a little kit to freshen up. Nia was caring and attentive while assisting the doctor with all my concerns. Dr. G was amazing and addressed all my concerns. Her plan was reassuring, and I left feeling great about the next steps and can't wait for my next appointment. This is an AMAZING team. I have never had a more pleasant and efficient visit to the Dentist. All of the staff, from the front desk team to the hygienists, are so warm and helpful. Lastly, Dr. Zahra Showkatian is the kindest and most considerate Dentist I have ever had. I feel so fortunate to receive care at Tend Capitol Hill.
Can I say, I’ve been to a bunch of dental offices and the Tend location on Capitol Hill is the best place. I’m sure the other tend offices are amazing as well but this was the only location I’ve been too and the front desk, hygienists and dentists are so kind and considerate. They always ask if I feel any pain or ask if I’d like to turn the channel to any particular show I’d like to watch while I get my cleaning. The tools they use are top of line and I have never had any issues with them working with my health insurance. I have Delta Dental and I’ve never needed to do any extra work to resolve any coding issues like I had to do in Hawaii and some offices in the DMV. When coming to see my family after the holidays I literally scheduled an appointment to see them. I now only trust them to work on my teeth. I had prior issues in the past with dental offices not related to Tend on Maple Lawn where I found that they were doing unnecessary fillings and went to this office the first time and they showed me my X-ray and said I didn’t need the fillings.

I was recommended Tend by a friend and it has been a great experience thus far. I began my Invisalign journey with Dr. Haidar who is such a kind soul, inside and out. This place is very modern and unique. The interior design is gorgeous; not your average dental office. The set up process was seamless and easy plus the staff is always so polite and helpful. Went to Flatiron studios for j Krupa Invisalign consultation. Booking and letting to my appointment was super easy. Office is clean and organized. Staff is very professional and friendly. I had a great experience at my cleaning today - the facility was clean and aesthetically pleasing, staff was amazing and their equipment was top notch. I received a welcome pouch with a tooth brush and toothpaste, custom tv sign, fun glasses to wear, beats headphones for my pre-selected show - truly and experience not expected at a dental office. I walked away with a thorough consultation and feeling excited for my next visit in 6 months!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tara for several months now, and I can’t recommend her enough! She has been incredibly helpful, kind, and always takes the time to thoroughly explain what needs to be done. It’s reassuring knowing that she is so knowledgeable about my dental care, and I always leave my appointments feeling confident and well-informed. Her advice and recommendations have been spot-on, and I truly appreciate her approach to patient care.
My experience was wonderful. Staff and dentists are all warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. I had questions regarding billing, but they addressed it professionally and quickly, which made me feel like they genuinely care about their patients. (Their customer care along with their dentists and oral surgeons are all so professional, caring and attentive!) Tend dental is a spa for your teeth. I visited two days in a row this week and both times, the staff were welcoming, professional, and efficient. Every time I visit tend, I never have to wait, the staff is always on time. The entertainment system is so great, I have to remind myself I am in the chair for a procedure, not just to be entertained. For my 2nd visit, the email said the procedure would take 50 minutes, and that is exactly how long it took. Tend is truly the best dental office I have ever been to.
My visit to Golden Triangle was just as amazing and comfortable as my experiences at other Tend locations. Dr. Sukys and his assistant, Ariel, along with Kourtni at the welcome desk, made my root canal surgery completely painless and stress-free from start to finish. They were all so friendly, efficient, and caring. I’m so happy to have finally taken care of my two teeth in such great hands! Thank YOU all!
Best dentist I have ever been to. I had a tooth break on a Saturday. Tend took me the same day, when my dentists office was closed until Monday. I can say confidently it was the greatest experience I have had. Not only was the office beautiful, with very modern technology, but the staff was incredibly gentle, kind, and generous. I suffer from extreme dental anxiety, and after this experience I will be switching to this office for my primary care.
I was extremely nervous upon arrival. Turns out I worried unnecessarily, My root canal which was performed by Dr. Alex was absolutely painless. He explained everything the treatment would entail prior to the procedure and I never experienced any discomfort during or after the procedure. The doctor, the hygeinist and the front desk personnel all worked together to make this a positive experience.
I’ve visited several Tend dental offices in both NYC and Boston, but the Kendall Square location is hands down one of my favorites. I always get a bit anxious about dental visits, but the moment I walked in, the team made me feel so welcome! Kimberly Nguyen, the hygienist who took care of me, was incredibly thorough in explaining what needed to be done, yet still so kind and patient. She really helped ease my nerves. Highly recommend this location. 10/10!
Really enjoyed my first exam! It was very comprehensive and thorough, and the hygienist & doctor we’re both so nice!! Loved the TV on the ceiling - a great distraction from what’s happening in your mouth. S/O Nicole - in the past the Dentist has always been a painful experience but this was fun, not painful at all, and quite enjoyable!! Would definitely recommend to a friend.
I go to Tend in DC and honestly, it’s been the best dental experience I’ve had. Everyone there is super friendly and the whole place feels clean, modern, and calming. Dr. Soni is wonderful. She’s incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. I felt really taken care of, and she explained everything clearly without rushing. As always, I received impeccable service and care at Tend Metro Center. The front desk staff, the lead hygienist, Tameka, and Dr. Tunji are always kind, accommodating and most importantly, competent. Literally the same dental procedures you can get done at any dentist, but such a more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Staff was attentive and helpfully explained every part of the process.
