Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

As a kid I really enjoyed going to the dentist. I’m not sure why but I was never afraid and always enjoyed my visits.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my profession is helping patients have a healthier mouth.

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

I enjoy a hike in the North Georgia Mountains

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

I’m most passionate about changing the stereotype that dentists cause pain and steal money from patients.

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

In another life, if I weren’t a dentist, I’d be a pilot.

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

Something that really makes me smile is a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream
