Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

I definitely did not enjoy going to my dentist and associated each visit with anxiety and pain. Now, as a dentist myself, it's very important that I provide gentle, empathetic, and informative care to my patients in an effort to improve their experience and impression of dentistry.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Completing cases and transforming patient's lives and confidence with their brand new smiles. I am always excited for that initial reaction when a patient looks at themselves in the mirror for the first time after their ortho debond!

What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?

Refreshing cucumber melon with a hint of mint

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

I'm a certified scuba diver!

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

Barre class

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I would attend culinary school and open my own restaurant.

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

My daughter
