Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

I loved it! Getting my teeth cleaned was my favorite thing ever and was truly shocked when I realized people actually hated it, lol.

What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

My grandpa was my dentist until he retired. I grew up going to his office frequently and had fun playing with all the tools. He would make beautiful rings for us out of dental gold and they are some of my most cherished possessions!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Meeting so many new people :) i love people

__What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why? __

Honestly would love to see Biden in my chair one day. We have seen a lot of his staff so maybe it's coming ;)

What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?

Sour watermelon. EXTRA sour, hehe.

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

I ran long distance competitively in college

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

Making my husband massage my feet while I snuggle our dog

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

That it is such a dreaded, miserable experience for most people. and that your hygienist judges you for not flossing. I'll make it FUN and will be proud of you for even just baby steps with flossing :)

__What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth? __

That it's connected to the rest of the body and so important for overall health

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

Probably living on a self-sustaining farm in the pacific northwest with like 5 million animals

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

A podcast learning about climate change or cults ahahah

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

When I bond with a patient over having a dog and then we show each other pictures of our dogs
