What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

I absolutely love interacting with and educating my patients.

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

My favorite thing to do is to go sailing. My parents introduced my brothers and me to the activity at a very young age...now we all sail with my parents and our families as often as possible!

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

After a long week, I really love playing with my children and our dog Peanut, a one-year-old, high-energy Shih-poo who keeps us all entertained!

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

That dentistry is painful. I strive to perform painless and comfortable dental procedures.

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I'd most likely be full-time Girl Scout volunteer. I love Girl Scouts and lead two troops. Even after my daughter completes her Gold Award, I will continue to volunteer with the troops!
