Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come? I absolutely loved the dentist! I was born missing several teeth so as a kid I went to several specialists. I loved their caring nature and how they mixed science and art to create my happy smile.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job? The most rewarding part of my job is going above a patient's expectations, whether by helping them feel calm or giving them the smile they always wanted.

What’s your dream toothpaste flavor? (Be as SPECIFIC as possible. For example: “Banana split, hold the cherries, add sprinkles.”) Cannoli with extra pistachios.

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing? That dentistry is painful.

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing? I'd be an FBI agent solving crimes.
