What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

A friend invited me to volunteer at a Red Cross Dental Clinic. I met other dentists and they invited me to their offices to shadow. I saw myself doing what they were doing and picked the dental route.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Getting patients excited about coming back to the dentist

__What’s your dream toothpaste flavor? __

Dark Chocolate Mint with chocolate chips

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

I used to play the Violin when younger. I am a certified open water diver.

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

A good breakfast and nice cup of coffee

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

Dentist drill teeth for no reason. I like to show my patients why they need something and make them part of the process.

__What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth? __

The taste buds :)

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I would be a detective. Looking for details and solving problems

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

I fall sleep, it is so relaxing :D

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

Seeing my team thrive and grow
