Dr. Ryan Reichelt’s first dentist was his aunt. “And she ended up being a great role model,” he says. “I actually looked forward to each visit.”
Dr. Reichelt, who grew up on Long Island, brings that familial style to Tend, where he prioritizes long-term, proactive dental care. “I don’t just want to treat patients, I want to set them up for future success,” he says. “Dentistry is really lifetime care, not just something to last you a few months or a year.”
And it all starts with communication: “If there’s any apprehension or fear, even if it’s something small, I want to discuss it,” he says. “If I can understand where you’re coming from, we can make treatment decisions together. I want my patients to feel like they’re always in control.”
