Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

The first time I ever visited a dental office is when I started working for one. I grew up very poor and dentistry was never a priority in my family.

What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

It’s a long story. Nonetheless, God planned this for me…. I just didn’t know it was meant to be my destiny.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my career is caring for others and educating them. Giving back what I wish I had growing up but with a delicate touch.

__What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why? __

My dream patient would be Barack Obama! He was a smoker for many years.. Id like to know if he’s taking care of himself since he quit when he was in office. I’d also like to tell him how proud I was of him when he quit.

What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?

My dream toothpaste would be mint chocolate chip!

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

My hidden talent is abstract art and home decor.

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

I restart by meditating and self care (facial, mani/pedi, and/or massage).

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

Dentistry doesn't have to be painful.

What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?

The coolest thing about the human moth is the ability to heal so quickly in a wet and dark environment.

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

Relaxing on a private island with trillions in my bank account.

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

Just about anything other than heavy metal.

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

A patient/person telling me how much they appreciate the service(s) performed. That makes me smile inside and out!
