Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?
As a child, I underwent oral surgery so you can say I wasn't the biggest fan of the dentist. I've come a long way though!
What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?
I love combining art and science! A smile is one of the most important things we have as humans and I love being able to enhance it!
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Getting patients out of pain and helping them overcome their dental fears and anxiety.
What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why?
ROBIN ARZON. I am a HUGE Peloton fanatic and she is my favorite instructor. I would be absolutely over the moon to have her as a patient.
What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?
Nutella, of course. How have we not come up with that by now?
What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?
I ran a hair and make up side hustle when I was 16 called HairbyGlo!
How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?
Peloton is my stress relief, but after a long week, dinner and a drink with my husband always helps.
What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?
Being at the dentist is terrifying and painful. With proper management, taking care of our oral health can be a really great experience.
What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?
Its ability to heal quickly!
In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?
Hair stylist or a fitness coach!
When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

My family and friends. I love being surrounded by my people. There's nothing else like it.
