Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

I was very scared of the dentist (and the doctor) — assistants had to use papoose to restrain me during procedures.

What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

My grandmother suffered from periodontal disease and has been using complete dentures for a long time. From her experience, I realized the importance of good oral health. Also, I love using my hands to make anything artistic. I shadowed multiple dentists and just loved the work they were doing as artists!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Seeing my patients leave the office with satisfaction, free of pain!

What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why?

Michael Jackson! I just love him.

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

I love music and play classic piano.

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

I love spending time with my mom and grandma going to cafe or watching a movie together.

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

That all dentists are money-driven.

What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?

Smiles :)

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I would try to become a musician! I love playing piano.

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

Disney music

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

Right now, I am very excited to start my new career! Just thinking about seeing new patients makes me smile.
