Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

I loved going to the dentist! I’m very grateful to my mom who made sure to bring me to the dentist every 6 months for my checkup and cleaning. My dentist is amazing at his job and I love making sure I’m cavity and tartar free!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing my patients making a change to improve their oral hygiene and health.

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

I went to Chinese school for 10 years learning Mandarin, but I am no where near being fluent. “Physically present, but mentally absent.”

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I would probably be running a dog cafe or doggy daycare.

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

K-POP, EDM, or pop music

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

Dogs! My day always brightens up whenever and wherever I see a dog.
