Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?
I always loved my dental visits! I had the best dental hygienist and other dental prividers who I could trust.
What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?
My dental hygienist was certainly an inspiration, but it was more of my curiosity about dentistry and my desire to help others that really drove me to become a dental hygienist.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Helping people change their lifestyle habits (nutrition, hygiene, etc.) for a healthier future.
What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why?
Selena Gomez! She is a beautiful person inside and out. It would a privilege to work with such an inspiring and talented person like herself.
What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?
Honestly, I could not imagine brushing with anything but a mint flavor toothpaste.
What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?
I love to sing songs in Portuguese and dance bachata & merengue!

Self-care: facials, spa, massage, and self-love!

Dental providers judge you based on your teeth.
What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?
A person's teeth are as unique as their fingerprint.
In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?
I would be an actress or a singer.
When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

Babies! Especially my two boys!
