Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

I loved it! I owe the positive experience to my pediatric dentist and her team; they made my visits both enjoyable and educational.

What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

Shadowing my dentist and seeing the joy and passion that she had for her career.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Working alongside the Tend team to improve the smiles, health, and well-being of our members.

What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why?

Trevor Noah! I imagine he would be telling a lot of jokes.

What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?

I love to roller skate!

Exploring scenic nature while being active – hiking, swimming, walking

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

That oral health isn't that important when, in reality, it's a key indicator of overall health.

What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?

The mouth is the gateway to the gut and, in turn, to the entire human body.

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

Something else that also marries human biology and art.

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.
