Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?

I started going to the dentist as a youngster and loved it from the beginning! I liked the cool stuff at the office like the equipment, the x-rays and weird suction, also the taste of the polish, and the way my mouth felt so clean and fresh after the visit.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of being a hygienist is the trust I establish with my patients. Honesty and a commitment to the patient experience is sooo rewarding for both parties!

What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why?

Princess Diana. She seemed like such a sweet soul and I bet would be an amazing patient...or on the other side of the coin, Genghis Khan~ what a mouth that must have been! OH George Washington with those wooden choppers!

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

My go-to recharge is a coconut latte. Works every time :)

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

The dental stereotype that I am most passionate about changing is that dentistry always has to hurt! Getting your teeth cleaned should NEVER hurt and I am a huge proponent of thorough yet gentle mind set! I take every step to provide an enjoyable visit because I want to see you again so you have a lifetime of healthy habits!

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.
