Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come? I had no problem going to the dentist!
What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so? My experience with my first dental assistant, Andrea, in the USA. Andrea was so kind, empathetic, and nonjudgmental, and she provided me with practical oral health education. It inspired me to go into dentistry. I wanted to help people like Andrea did—making them feel welcome, being kind to them, and educating them. Overall, I believe in prevention.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Having a positive impact on my patients' health.

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing? Dental hygienists are simply "teeth cleaners.”
What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth? Having good and healthy breath.
In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing? Teaching.
What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really? Seeing people smile.
