What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?

I never gave my baby teeth to the tooth fairy. Instead I kept them in a little box and would periodically clean them at the kitchen table with toothpicks and toothpaste...I still have that little box full of teeth.

What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?

Sour cherry!

How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?

Running in Central Park, sudoku puzzles, and reading mystery novels.

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?

That cleanings are painful! There are options for patients to be more comfortable during treatment. With the right encouragement and home care, future cleanings can become more pleasant for the patient!

In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?

I'd be a flight attendant!

When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

The Les Misérables or La La Land soundtrack.

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?

My cat, Luna Tuna and desserts.
