What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?
I have a lovely story with happy ending. When I was a third grader, I fell down in school and chipped my front tooth (Something that happens to many young kids). I was in tears as you can imagine. My mom took me to a very nice dentist and he fixed my tooth with absolutely no pain. The second he gave me the mirror, I fell in love with the magic in dentistry. There was something in the air in the dental office! I loved it. My life changed since. I’m so motivated to see that fascinated look in our members’ eyes when we give them the mirror to approve the aesthetic and they feel the magic.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Over the last 15 years of my experience, I had so many memorable moments with our members. The most rewarding moment for me is the joy when a member tells us, “Wow, this was the best dental experience I have ever had, and I didn’t feel a thing.!"
What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?
Salted caramel frozen yogurt
What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you?
I’m a certified international yoga instructor in Cyclic Yoga. Since the beginning of COVID, we started online Zoom yoga classes twice a week and we are still enjoying it. Based on my experience, I have the opportunity to use the breathing and relaxation techniques of Yoga for our members in dental office. I’m so proud and grateful that it is helping them to relax. Yoga makes their experience smoother.

What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?
I want to change this stereotype about dentistry that a lot of people say: “Dentistry is painful and undesirable.” We tend to the whole you! We care about your painless and comfortable experience in Tend Kendall Sq. No judgment ever!
What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?
The mouth is fascinating: The first layer of every tooth is enamel which is even stronger than our bones. Most of the time, the roots in baby teeth get resorption automatically when the adult teeth are ready to erupt. The healing power of gums and bones after extraction or surgery is unbelievable."
