__Most people either loved going to the dentist as a kid—or absolutely hated it. Where did you fall? How come?__ I never went to the Dentist as a child. My first time at the dentist was my first job at 15 where I started my dental career, so I never had a feeling about it one way or the other. __What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?__ My first job was at a dental office working the front desk at 14 years old. I was asked if I wanted to transition to working as a dental assistant. I was originally on the track to becoming a nurse and changed my profession due to the love I grew towards the industry. __What’s the most rewarding part of your job?__ Changing peoples perspectives on their oral health __What famous person (alive or dead) is your dream dental patient? Why? __ Denzel Washington because I would like to convince him to change the anterior crowns that he currently has __What’s your dream toothpaste flavor?__ White Chocolate __What’s something your patients might be surprised to learn about you? __ I have jumped off the water falls in Costa Rica __How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?__ Crabs and conversation __What dental stereotype are you most passionate about changing?__ That their gums have bled all of their lives __What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth? __ That we have two sets of teeth __In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?__ Traveling the world __When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.__ Anything R&B __What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?__ Forever roses
