Dr. Fatihma Haidar is a general dentist at Tend’s East Village studio, where she delivers compassionate, thorough dental care tailored to each individual’s needs. She completed her dental training at West Virginia University Hospitals (Ruby Memorial Hospital), gaining clinical experience in both preventive and restorative dentistry.

Definitely the most positive experience I’ve had at a dentist!! The nurse was so sweet and made sure to let me know everything we were going to be doing, and made sure that I was comfortable and not nervous about anything. Same for the dentist- he was very clear about my procedure and what to expect, and did not pressure me to go through with anything that made me nervous. The actual procedure also went perfectly. The woman at the front was also very clear and helpful with me about exactly how my treatment plan and payment would work. Cannot say enough good things about my experience here!!
One of the best experiences I’ve had since my childhood dentist. I hat a kind and loving staff all the way through !! The front desk is very welcoming, the Hygenist is so attentive and the Dentist is very informative and answers all questions. The televisions on the ceiling and offering moisturizer for the lips are such a nice nod to the care and comfort of the patients. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Went to Flatiron studios for j Krupa Invisalign consultation. Booking and letting to my appointment was super easy. Office is clean and organized. Staff is very professional and friendly. I had a great experience at my cleaning today - the facility was clean and aesthetically pleasing, staff was amazing and their equipment was top notch. I received a welcome pouch with a tooth brush and toothpaste, custom tv sign, fun glasses to wear, beats headphones for my pre-selected show - truly and experience not expected at a dental office. I walked away with a thorough consultation and feeling excited for my next visit in 6 months!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tara for several months now, and I can’t recommend her enough! She has been incredibly helpful, kind, and always takes the time to thoroughly explain what needs to be done. It’s reassuring knowing that she is so knowledgeable about my dental care, and I always leave my appointments feeling confident and well-informed. Her advice and recommendations have been spot-on, and I truly appreciate her approach to patient care.
My experience was wonderful. Staff and dentists are all warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. I had questions regarding billing, but they addressed it professionally and quickly, which made me feel like they genuinely care about their patients. (Their customer care along with their dentists and oral surgeons are all so professional, caring and attentive!) Tend dental is a spa for your teeth. I visited two days in a row this week and both times, the staff were welcoming, professional, and efficient. Every time I visit tend, I never have to wait, the staff is always on time. The entertainment system is so great, I have to remind myself I am in the chair for a procedure, not just to be entertained. For my 2nd visit, the email said the procedure would take 50 minutes, and that is exactly how long it took. Tend is truly the best dental office I have ever been to.
My visit to Golden Triangle was just as amazing and comfortable as my experiences at other Tend locations. Dr. Sukys and his assistant, Ariel, along with Kourtni at the welcome desk, made my root canal surgery completely painless and stress-free from start to finish. They were all so friendly, efficient, and caring. I’m so happy to have finally taken care of my two teeth in such great hands! Thank YOU all!
Best dentist I have ever been to. I had a tooth break on a Saturday. Tend took me the same day, when my dentists office was closed until Monday. I can say confidently it was the greatest experience I have had. Not only was the office beautiful, with very modern technology, but the staff was incredibly gentle, kind, and generous. I suffer from extreme dental anxiety, and after this experience I will be switching to this office for my primary care.
I was extremely nervous upon arrival. Turns out I worried unnecessarily, My root canal which was performed by Dr. Alex was absolutely painless. He explained everything the treatment would entail prior to the procedure and I never experienced any discomfort during or after the procedure. The doctor, the hygeinist and the front desk personnel all worked together to make this a positive experience.
I’ve visited several Tend dental offices in both NYC and Boston, but the Kendall Square location is hands down one of my favorites. I always get a bit anxious about dental visits, but the moment I walked in, the team made me feel so welcome! Kimberly Nguyen, the hygienist who took care of me, was incredibly thorough in explaining what needed to be done, yet still so kind and patient. She really helped ease my nerves. Highly recommend this location. 10/10!
Really enjoyed my first exam! It was very comprehensive and thorough, and the hygienist & doctor we’re both so nice!! Loved the TV on the ceiling - a great distraction from what’s happening in your mouth. S/O Nicole - in the past the Dentist has always been a painful experience but this was fun, not painful at all, and quite enjoyable!! Would definitely recommend to a friend.
I go to Tend in DC and honestly, it’s been the best dental experience I’ve had. Everyone there is super friendly and the whole place feels clean, modern, and calming. Dr. Soni is wonderful. She’s incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. I felt really taken care of, and she explained everything clearly without rushing. If you’re in DC and looking for a dentist who actually makes you feel comfortable, I’d definitely recommend Tend!
As always, I received impeccable service and care at Tend Metro Center. The front desk staff, the lead hygienist, Tameka, and Dr. Tunji are always kind, accommodating and most importantly, competent. I just finished my Invisalign journey and my teeth are literally perfect. They were patient with me throughout the year-long process and I am overwhelmingly satisfied with the results.

Literally the same dental procedures you can get done at any dentist, but such a more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Staff was attentive and helpfully explained every part of the process. Gorgeous modern office. Laid back and watched Netflix during my cleaning - didn’t even notice time was passing! Definitely a “millennial” dentist.

Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions without feeling rushed.

We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues like early signs of decay or gum disease before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing alone can't remove, and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
