My husband and I both had appointments at Tend, and our experience was fantastic. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly pleasant, especially my dental hygienist, Brittni. She was so kind and took the time to explain every step. I had my 3-year-old daughter with me for part of the appointment, and Brittni was wonderfully accommodating to her as well. Overall, it was an outstanding experience at Tend, and we're looking forward to our next visit.
All of the staff at the Mosaic office were all so wonderful. They made sure I was comfortable and understand every step of the whitening process. I was their last client of the day and yet the hygienists offered me extra time to ensure I was satisfied with my results. Highly recommend Tend for any dental needs!
I get very nervous going to the dentist but I was completely at ease here. The hygenist and dentist were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. The appointment was not rushed at all which is rare in NYC. I highly recommend Tend and can't wait to go back (who thought I'd be excited for the dentist???)!

Really nice experience here. I was a little concerned that all the extra perks and comfort features may be surface level since that doesn’t necessarily indicate how good the service will be. But my dentist was 100% competent and capable and the team was really friendly both times I’ve been now. Impressed!
The staff here at Navy Yard are the best!!! Dr. Turkson, Dr. Showkatian and Roxy made me feel so comfortable once again. Im ine to be petrified of the dentist the sounds make me out of control. I use to pass out after leaving the any dental office. Since I've been coming to Tend...hasn't happened any more. There expertise in what they do made my nervousness go away. [My hygienist] really cared about my teeth and took the extra mile to properly clean it, take pictures, explain to them, answer my questions, and give me suggestions. I would usually be at the dentist for about 20-40 minutes at most, but I spent over an hour with her, and honestly, I think she did a 5-star job.
A colleague of mine at work raved about this dental office. I was in search for a new dentist because of urgent tooth issue. Not only was able to see a doctor about my tooth the same day I inquired about the location, they are setting me up with my treatment the same week. Highly impressive practice. Best dentist ever. I have a rare condition that makes it hard for me to numb with local anesthetic. Dr. Silvia took her personal time to research my condition and adjust her technique to offer the best pain relief possible. This is the most caring thing a doctor has ever done for me.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tara for several months now, and I can’t recommend her enough! She has been incredibly helpful, kind, and always takes the time to thoroughly explain what needs to be done. It’s reassuring knowing that she is so knowledgeable about my dental care, and I always leave my appointments feeling confident and well-informed. Her advice and recommendations have been spot-on, and I truly appreciate her approach to patient care.
Best dental office experience I have ever had. HANDS DOWN. They have top of the line tech which made everything such a smooth experience, but mostly the staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and kind—from the front desk associate to the dentist all around great treatment. My dental hygienist, Kim was so attentive and you can tell he truly cares about his job. He went above and beyond to make sure my concerns were addressed even though I arrived a little late (someone give him a raise ASAP!!) Did not feel like they were pushy with any treatments that I may not need like other dentists. Truly will be a client for life.
I absolutely hate going to the dentist and have a lot of anxiety around being at the dentist office. Everyone from the front desk, dental assistant, and dentist were so incredibly kind to me and went out of their way to make sure I was feeling ok. The office manager Kim assured me that I was in good hands with her team and Dr. The reception area and office are exclusively high class and in impeccable condition. Chelsea was a doll as she greeted all guests with a little kit to freshen up. Nia was caring and attentive while assisting the doctor with all my concerns. Dr. G was amazing and addressed all my concerns. Her plan was reassuring, and I left feeling great about the next steps and can't wait for my next appointment. This is an AMAZING team. First visit at TEND Navy Yard and I was blown away from the experience. You’re greeted on site by a friendly receptionist and met with a beautiful modern lounge. You receive a gift for your inaugural visit which was a nice surprise and there’s an app to follow appointments and visit notes. In closing, I was sent to the back in a timely manner by 9:30a which was my appointment, the monitor screen was very personal and welcoming. The orthodontist was extremely friendly and answered all my questions, I look forward to my next visit. I found my new home.
It's a bonus that despite the swanky feel of the office and the really thoughtful service, they don't try to upsell you and the prices for out-of-pocket expenses are reasonable and discussed upfront.
Everything from making an appointment for an emergency visit and having them expedite the process to have me seen and treatment complete quickly was great. Dr. Cook and his team paid attention to detail. Will definitely be back!
Literally the same dental procedures you can get done at any dentist, but such a more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Staff was attentive and helpfully explained every part of the process. Gorgeous modern office. Laid back and watched Netflix during my cleaning - didn’t even notice time was passing! Definitely a “millennial” dentist.

We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. To book an appointment for a child, please call us directly instead of using online booking. This helps us make sure we schedule the right type of visit with the right provider. Our team will walk you through everything and answer any questions you may have.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
