My first time at Tend and I’m glad I followed through with my appointment. Their office is really nice and clean and everyone was really friendly. My hygienist and Dentist were Shacore and Dr. Abernathy and they were both amazing. Shacore made me laugh the entire time and tried her best to make me feel comfortable. I would definitely go back.
All of the dental hygienists & dentists were genuinely good people & workers there at Tend Chelsea. They told me what’s covered by my insurance ahead of time & they let me know what was wrong with my teeth if there was anything wrong with them. The teeth cleaning was thorough & efficient.
Really nice experience here. I was a little concerned that all the extra perks and comfort features may be surface level since that doesn’t necessarily indicate how good the service will be. But my dentist was 100% competent and capable and the team was really friendly both times I’ve been now. Impressed!

Can’t say enough positive things. Appointments were readily available to see me for an emergency visit, checkin was seamless and the host was super nice. In the treatment room the team showed excellent care and compassion and stayed a little longer to help me knowing my schedule was tight and I was leaving NY for two weeks. Can’t imagine this is regular service but super appreciated. Love the service and access to the care, the team were professional and super kind, and the facility (I’ve visited several locations) is/are super impressive. Not the old school dentist. Dr. Lina is awesome. She is very professional, kind and does beautiful work (I needed to have a crown replaced because of a cavity that had formed underneath). She tells you everything she is doing every step of the way and continually checks that you are okay. She has the loveliest, calmest bedside manner (a great dentist for all, but would be especially good for those who are very anxious about going to the dentist). Really I can't say enough good things about her, she is terrific. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have all been lovely as well, very kind and helpful, and the cleanings I have had have been really thorough. Overall a great experience!
The time between when I first made contact with Tend and when I had my custom night guard in my hand was 15 days, which has to be some sort of record. All for about half the price that other dentists in the area quoted me. The dentist and her hygienist/assistant were very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’m very grateful to Tend!
I have been extremely impressed by Tend especially this location! The staff here are very friendly and take the time to explain everything and teach how to improve your oral health. Can I say, I’ve been to a bunch of dental offices and the Tend location on Capitol Hill is the best place. I’m sure the other tend offices are amazing as well but this was the only location I’ve been too and the front desk, hygienists and dentists are so kind and considerate. They always ask if I feel any pain or ask if I’d like to turn the channel to any particular show I’d like to watch while I get my cleaning. The tools they use are top of line and I have never had any issues with them working with my health insurance. I have Delta Dental and I’ve never needed to do any extra work to resolve any coding issues like I had to do in Hawaii and some offices in the DMV. When coming to see my family after the holidays I literally scheduled an appointment to see them. I now only trust them to work on my teeth. I had prior issues in the past with dental offices not related to Tend on Maple Lawn where I found that they were doing unnecessary fillings and went to this office the first time and they showed me my X-ray and said I didn’t need the fillings.

The Dentist I saw after my cleaning had an amazing "bedside manner". Checked me out, said all was good, asked if I had any questions, gave me some advice on some prior tooth issues. I’ve been to two cleanings with Tend and my experience each time has been wonderful! Everyone has been pleasant at each visit.The brushing room and complimentary toothbrush/toothpaste/floss pack are a nice touch. And my dental hygienist, Gabby, is so personable! She does a great job cleaning my teeth, has good suggestions for products and oral care routine, she’s very engaging and is overall lovely!
I’ve had a fantastic experience at Tend. I have had very high dental anxiety throughout my life and once I communicated this to the team we talked through a plan to keep me informed and comfortable with the dental work I needed to get done! My dental anxiety has dramatically decreased over the last few years and my teeth are healthier than ever. Highly recommend!
This was my second time visiting and both times I experienced EXCEPTIONAL service. I did not wait more than 60 seconds to be taken tot the exam room. The hygienist was amazing and gentle. The office is modern and very clean. The receptionists are always pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be a regular. Anddddd they used my preferred name.
Wasn’t looking forward to my root canal but Dr. Yu made it painless. Managed to go about my day right after the procedure. It’s been a few days since the procedure but so far so good. Also the Studio Manager, Neday was so extremely helpful. Thank you all.

We’ll show you the maximum cost for your dental visit, so you’ll never pay more than you expect. Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
