I get very nervous going to the dentist but I was completely at ease here. The hygenist and dentist were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. The appointment was not rushed at all which is rare in NYC. I highly recommend Tend and can't wait to go back (who thought I'd be excited for the dentist???)!

I have been going to Tend Navy Yard since 2021. They set me up with an incredible treatment plan that has allowed me to progress through all the procedures that I needed. My latest treatment earlier this year with Dr. Cevallos and Alexa was perfect. The care and attention to detail made all the difference. Definitely the most positive experience I’ve had at a dentist!! The nurse was so sweet and made sure to let me know everything we were going to be doing, and made sure that I was comfortable and not nervous about anything. Same for the dentist- he was very clear about my procedure and what to expect, and did not pressure me to go through with anything that made me nervous. The actual procedure also went perfectly. The woman at the front was also very clear and helpful with me about exactly how my treatment plan and payment would work. Cannot say enough good things about my experience here!!

When I came in, the team was so gentle with my cleaning and I never felt judged. I didnt get flossed shamed and when it came time to review my teeth, [the dentist] took the time to show me my xrays, where my cavity was (no dentist has ever done this for me) which I really appreciated.
The time between when I first made contact with Tend and when I had my custom night guard in my hand was 15 days, which has to be some sort of record. All for about half the price that other dentists in the area quoted me. The dentist and her hygienist/assistant were very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’m very grateful to Tend!

I visited Tend Midtown on an emergency basis today and had a lot of reservations because horrible past experiences with dentists. I was blown away at how friendly and accommodating everyone was. Let me start off by saying the facility and equipment are nest level. I was greeted by Sidney who automatically made me feel better. Janelle was a Godsend. Her calming demeanor and professionalism are the reasons I will return. She completly eased my anxiety! Lisa explained everything regarding my condition and the treatment plan. This was definitely the best dental experience to date!
Dr. Lina is awesome. She is very professional, kind and does beautiful work (I needed to have a crown replaced because of a cavity that had formed underneath). She tells you everything she is doing every step of the way and continually checks that you are okay. She has the loveliest, calmest bedside manner (a great dentist for all, but would be especially good for those who are very anxious about going to the dentist). Really I can't say enough good things about her, she is terrific. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have all been lovely as well, very kind and helpful, and the cleanings I have had have been really thorough. Overall a great experience!
This was my second time visiting and both times I experienced EXCEPTIONAL service. I did not wait more than 60 seconds to be taken tot the exam room. The hygienist was amazing and gentle. The office is modern and very clean. The receptionists are always pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be a regular. Anddddd they used my preferred name.
The entire team was amazing, but my hygienist, Jose Contreras, was particularly incredible. As someone with pretty severe dental anxiety, he went above and beyond to soothe any concerns I had, and had a great personality and sense of humor, too. We’ll show you the maximum cost for your dental visit, so you’ll never pay more than you expect. Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
