It’s located just steps away from the 7 train and a few blocks from the G at 21st Street. Street parking is also available. Really positive experience. Beautiful aesthetically. Every detail was thought through. Got an appointment next day. Zero wait time. The staff and drs were thorough and very kind and put me at ease even though I was very nervous! They were transparent about billing, my insurance covered the visit, no weird bills later on. This was my first time at Tend, and I loved it! The entire process to book an appointment was super easy and seamless. They took my insurance and the entire visit was covered. The office was very clean, modern and nice! Said they’ve only been open in that location about 6 months. My dental hygienist Emily was very sweet and walked me through everything she was doing. I had a great experience at my cleaning today - the facility was clean and aesthetically pleasing, staff was amazing and their equipment was top notch. I received a welcome pouch with a tooth brush and toothpaste, custom tv sign, fun glasses to wear, beats headphones for my pre-selected show - truly and experience not expected at a dental office. I walked away with a thorough consultation and feeling excited for my next visit in 6 months!
I have never been nervous about the dentist until a year ago before I was a Tend client and had a bad experience at another place. He put me at ease and the care I’ve received here is hands down the best of my life. Plus it feels like a spa.
I must say this is like going to the spa. The staff is incredible from the host to the technicians to the doctors; everyone is warm, fun, smart, diligent, and professional while still creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience...I truly enjoy every visit and already am looking forward to my next cleaning (who says that?!)

Just finished having major work done. Incredible job by Dr Kim and the Tend-Ballston staff. They addressed dental problems I had ignored for a decade. I had 3 crowns installed on the left and a major bridge on the right. No pain, a great outcome, and all done in 2 visits. I highly recommend Tend and Dr Kim. It’s how dentistry should be in the 21st century.

Lately I’ve felt like true hospitality is lacking in Atlanta, but Tend always makes me feel at home. Staff at tend is friendly, attentive, and professional. I’ve never really had to wait long once I arrive for my appointment, and punctually for me it’s important. I’ve had a couple of different hygienists and they’ve both been awesome. Last week, I was seen by a new doctor and he made me feel like he had been seeing me for years. I would name him but I can’t remember his name. The aesthetic at Tend is also really chill, while still feeling like you’re at the dentist. Modern and young, but still with homage to your classic dentist’s office. I love being able to watch a show during my cleanings. The only time I’ve had an inconvenience was when a hygienist called out sick and my appointment got rescheduled, but they’re open on Saturday so it wasn’t the end of the world (and people get sick). So glad they accept my insurance and I definitely recommend this place if it’s available to you!
One of my favorite parts at the end of the visit was after the dentist gave me his recos his staff showed me on the screen what my next few visits would cost me out of pocket and what my insurance would be covering. This is what visiting the dentist should be like.
I visited Tend Midtown on an emergency basis today and had a lot of reservations because horrible past experiences with dentists. I was blown away at how friendly and accommodating everyone was. Let me start off by saying the facility and equipment are nest level. I was greeted by Sidney who automatically made me feel better. Janelle was a Godsend. Her calming demeanor and professionalism are the reasons I will return. She completly eased my anxiety! Lisa explained everything regarding my condition and the treatment plan. This was definitely the best dental experience to date!

This was my first experience with Tend and it was wonderful, start to finish! Everyone I spoke with was very amicable. My past dental visits have been traumatizing. Leading me to shy away from the dentist for over a decade. Quite the opposite at Tend, the setting was very comforting. I have some complicated dentistry ahead of me, but feel very at ease with Tend. Kiara, the dental assistant, was lovely. The dentist, can’t remember his name, was kind and wasn’t judgmental at all. Tend is a very soothing facility. Love the color decor and the ceiling TV. - Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
