She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Glusker is passionate about patient education and is dedicated to helping individuals discover the beauty of a healthy smile. Dr. Joel Ayon
Dr. Joel Ayon is a board-certified oral surgeon serving multiple Tend studios, including Flatiron, Wall Street, Grand Central, Upper West Side, and Park Slope. He earned his DDS from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to connect with a wide range of patients.
Dr. Ayon specializes in extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and other complex oral surgery procedures. Known for his calm demeanor and steady hand, he helps patients feel at ease—even during treatments that might seem intimidating.
Dr. Jonathan Cook

Can’t say enough positive things. Appointments were readily available to see me for an emergency visit, checkin was seamless and the host was super nice. In the treatment room the team showed excellent care and compassion and stayed a little longer to help me knowing my schedule was tight and I was leaving NY for two weeks. Can’t imagine this is regular service but super appreciated. Love the service and access to the care, the team were professional and super kind, and the facility (I’ve visited several locations) is/are super impressive. Not the old school dentist. I took my mother to this medical practice today, which was a refreshing change from our previous experiences. My mother, who doesn't speak English, often found it challenging to communicate at other clinics. However, this practice stood out by offering interpreter services, a feature we hadn't encountered elsewhere. This was a significant positive aspect for us. Additionally, I want to extend special thanks to the store manager, Leslie, and our hygienist Edith for her exceptional assistance throughout our visit.
The entire team was amazing, but my hygienist, Jose Contreras, was particularly incredible. As someone with pretty severe dental anxiety, he went above and beyond to soothe any concerns I had, and had a great personality and sense of humor, too. Can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to my next cleaning. Thank you to the whole team!
I had a great experience! I Came here for a cleaning/ general checkup. Doctor was very thorough and went through X-rays with me and answered all my questions. And the hygienist i had did an excellent job. He was super thoughtful and left my teeth sparkly clean without hurting me. And the office itself is adorable, it’s very clean and well decorated. Overall it was a great experience and I will be returning!

From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, a class act! II thought it was going to be really expensive and someone hovering over me just ringing up the cash register. This was not the case. If you don't need it, they won't push it on you, however, they give you the option and pricing up front.
It's a bonus that despite the swanky feel of the office and the really thoughtful service, they don't try to upsell you and the prices for out-of-pocket expenses are reasonable and discussed upfront.
My hygienist...was sooooo awesome and sweet! Loved the attention and care that went into this visit. She was very attentive to my concerns and eased any anxiety I had!
Dr. Lina is awesome. She is very professional, kind and does beautiful work (I needed to have a crown replaced because of a cavity that had formed underneath). She tells you everything she is doing every step of the way and continually checks that you are okay. She has the loveliest, calmest bedside manner (a great dentist for all, but would be especially good for those who are very anxious about going to the dentist). Really I can't say enough good things about her, she is terrific. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have all been lovely as well, very kind and helpful, and the cleanings I have had have been really thorough. Overall a great experience!
This was my first experience with Tend and it was wonderful, start to finish! Everyone I spoke with was very amicable. My past dental visits have been traumatizing. Leading me to shy away from the dentist for over a decade. Quite the opposite at Tend, the setting was very comforting. I have some complicated dentistry ahead of me, but feel very at ease with Tend. Kiara, the dental assistant, was lovely. The dentist, can’t remember his name, was kind and wasn’t judgmental at all. Tend is a very soothing facility. Love the color decor and the ceiling TV. I have been going to Tend Navy Yard since 2021. They set me up with an incredible treatment plan that has allowed me to progress through all the procedures that I needed. My latest treatment earlier this year with Dr. Cevallos and Alexa was perfect. The care and attention to detail made all the difference. The staff is spectacular, super friendly, and Dr. Ho is amazing in his service; his work is also spectacular. The facilities are very nice and super clean. I loved it and highly recommend it. Highly recommended!

I love love loveddddd my experience! This was my first time and the place was gorgeous, clean. I was welcomed upon entry and helped right away. Everything felt personalized. I enjoyed being a part of the whole visit, I saw my X-rays right on the screen in front of me as they were being taken, I got to watch a show which I chose before hand while I had my cleaning done. The dentist explained every part of the exam and what she was doing, what she found. Best dental experience ever!
As a person with some dentist anxiety this was a nerve wracking appointment. Oksana took such great care of me and was so patient. It was easy to trust them and everyone made me very comfortable.
I go to Tend in DC and honestly, it’s been the best dental experience I’ve had. Everyone there is super friendly and the whole place feels clean, modern, and calming. Dr. Soni is wonderful. She’s incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. I felt really taken care of, and she explained everything clearly without rushing. This was seriously the best experience ever. Everyone is so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. I received fantastic care in a clean and welcoming environment. Amazing amenities too - I watched The Office on Netflix after using a heated eye mask. I was so comfy I fell asleep. I can't wait to come back.
I have a ton of anxiety about these visits and have never been great with follow up but not this time. Everyone there does an amazing job of putting you at ease. The doctors are highly competent and compassionate as are all the assistants and hygienists that I’ve been lucky enough to meet. Really, it’s that good!

They always make sure I’m comfortable, and with their TVs, it’s a much easier experience if you’re not fond of going to the dentist. I love Tend! The office is beautiful and clean. My appointments are always on time and easy to book online. Lena’s cleaning today was the gentlest I’ve ever had. Watching TV during the appointment is relaxing. This makes going to the dentist enjoyable.
The time between when I first made contact with Tend and when I had my custom night guard in my hand was 15 days, which has to be some sort of record. All for about half the price that other dentists in the area quoted me. The dentist and her hygienist/assistant were very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’m very grateful to Tend!
They also had contactless payment, and let me know up front that there would be no cost associated with my visit based on my insurance. I’ll definitely be back! This is how all dentists should be!

We’ll show you the maximum cost for your dental visit, so you’ll never pay more than you expect. We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
