Do you take dental insurance?
Absolutely. We partner with major dental insurers to get you amazing care at amazing prices. We also offer a real-time online benefits check before you come in. We’ll show you the maximum cost for your dental visit, so you’ll never pay more than you expect. The insurers we partner with include: Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian, MetLife, United Concordia, Principal, Oxford Health Plans, and Ameritas. How experienced are your Grand Central Studio dentists?
Our Grand Central Studio dentists are graduates of respected dental schools, and have all trained in highly-rated residency programs. All of our dentists take continuing education courses in order to stay current with all of the latest techniques and research. They’re led by our Clinical Director, Dr. Marc Schlenoff, a former Program Director at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in Manhattan.
How will I know which dentist or hygienist I’ll be seeing?
Before your visit, we’ll give you a call to say hi and answer any questions you may have. We’ll also tell you a bit about the dentist you’re going to see. If there’s someone in particular you’re hoping to be seen by, feel free to call us at (212) 406-3686.
What if I want to reschedule with a different dentist or hygienist than the one I've been paired with?
Totally fine! Just give us a call at (212) 686-3686.
How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Call us at (888) 818-3686. Just make sure to do so more than 24 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $75 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
What services do you offer?
Our NYC Manhattan dental offices offer a full range of preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dental services. For preventative and restorative dental care, we offer routine checkups, implants, and everything in between. We currently do not see children under 13, but we are more than happy to recommend pediatric dentists in Manhattan. Just give us a call at (212) 686-3686.
Do appointments really start on time?
They really do. And the reason’s pretty simple: we book fewer visits per day than most Manhattan dental offices. This allows us to commit to schedules that enable our dentists and hygienists to spend as much time with you as is needed, with a comfortable cushion before and afterward. And it’s also safer: by staggering visit times, we ensure that no one needs to wait in common spaces, and we limit patient overlap in hallways.
