Dr. Narain Paryani
Originally from Toronto, Dr. Paryani discovered his passion for dentistry through a love of both science and working with his hands—but it was the opportunity to help people that truly drew him in. He describes dentistry as “a rewarding mix of art, science, and connection,” and it’s that personal connection that shapes the care he provides every day.
Dr. Paryani believes great dentistry starts with trust. He takes the time to get to know his patients—understanding their goals, concerns, and preferences—to personalize care at every step. “I treat every patient like family,” he says. “The more I understand what matters to you, the better I can support your health.”
A graduate of the NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Paryani completed his General Residency at Jamaica Hospital, where he deepened his commitment to patient education. “Helping people understand their oral health empowers them to take better care of it,” he says. “That’s what good dentistry is all about.”

They always make sure I’m comfortable, and with their TVs, it’s a much easier experience if you’re not fond of going to the dentist. All of the dental hygienists & dentists were genuinely good people & workers there at Tend Chelsea. They told me what’s covered by my insurance ahead of time & they let me know what was wrong with my teeth if there was anything wrong with them. The teeth cleaning was thorough & efficient.

Literally the same dental procedures you can get done at any dentist, but such a more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Staff was attentive and helpfully explained every part of the process. Really positive experience. Beautiful aesthetically. Every detail was thought through. Got an appointment next day. Zero wait time. The staff and drs were thorough and very kind and put me at ease even though I was very nervous! They were transparent about billing, my insurance covered the visit, no weird bills later on. I was extremely nervous upon arrival. Turns out I worried unnecessarily, My root canal which was performed by Dr. Alex was absolutely painless. He explained everything the treatment would entail prior to the procedure and I never experienced any discomfort during or after the procedure. The doctor, the hygeinist and the front desk personnel all worked together to make this a positive experience.
Definitely the most positive experience I’ve had at a dentist!! The nurse was so sweet and made sure to let me know everything we were going to be doing, and made sure that I was comfortable and not nervous about anything. Same for the dentist- he was very clear about my procedure and what to expect, and did not pressure me to go through with anything that made me nervous. The actual procedure also went perfectly. The woman at the front was also very clear and helpful with me about exactly how my treatment plan and payment would work. Cannot say enough good things about my experience here!!
Such a great place to go to the dentist. The setup is gorgeous and bright. Everyone is super nice. And I thought having nextflix on was a gimmick but they have a tv on the ceiling for you to watch along with sanitized headphones. Helped make the time pass quickly. Very glad this was so convenient to my apt.
By far the best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone was friendly. The location was very clean. The staff was very informative and was able to answer any questions I had. The only issue I had was that it took an abnormally long time to verify my insurance coverage.

The cleanest & most welcoming facility! I have seen two dentists- both were quick, thorough, and communicated with me throughout my visit. Dr. Alexa even hummed (v well!) through my fillings 😂 She took the extra time to floss my fluoride treatment through my teeth, even though it was a particularly busy morning. Also- the toothbrushes in their guest bags are the best. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this dentist. Every time I’ve been, the hygienist has been spectacular and so nice and fun. They’re not pushy, take time to explain things I’ve treatments are needed, and are efficient in their operations. Oh and also the place is really clean and modern, which is a total plus. Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
