Before you visit, take a look at our FAQs! We've answered the most helpful questions to make your experience at Tend Dental Downtown Brooklyn stress-free.
Yes, our dentists at Tend Dental Downtown Brooklyn are accepting new patients! No matter how much time has passed since your last dental appointment, our goal is to make you feel at ease. We pride ourselves on creating a judgment-free environment where every patient is treated with empathy and respect.
Your initial visit will include a thorough exam, a detailed review of your oral health, and time to discuss any concerns or goals you may have. We’ll make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and fully supported from the moment you walk in.
For most patients, we recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months. These routine visits help us identify small issues, such as early signs of decay or gum disease, before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to visit more often, especially if there is a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will create an oral health care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing alone can't remove, and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Yes, we do. We are proud to partner with major dental insurers to provide you with amazing care at great prices.
We also offer a real-time online benefits check before you come in. We’ll show you the most that your dental visit could cost, so you’ll never pay more than you expect.
The insurers we partner with include Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian, MetLife, United Concordia, Principal, Oxford Health Plans, and Ameritas.
