First visit at TEND Navy Yard and I was blown away from the experience. You’re greeted on site by a friendly receptionist and met with a beautiful modern lounge. You receive a gift for your inaugural visit which was a nice surprise and there’s an app to follow appointments and visit notes. In closing, I was sent to the back in a timely manner by 9:30a which was my appointment, the monitor screen was very personal and welcoming. The orthodontist was extremely friendly and answered all my questions, I look forward to my next visit. I found my new home.
I have been going to Tend Navy Yard since 2021. They set me up with an incredible treatment plan that has allowed me to progress through all the procedures that I needed. My latest treatment earlier this year with Dr. Cevallos and Alexa was perfect. The care and attention to detail made all the difference. I recently had an outstanding experience at Tend! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. Dr Ayaz was fantastic! He took the time to explain every step of the process, making sure I felt comfortable and informed about my treatment. The dental hygienist Alex was also wonderful, gentle yet thorough. He provided excellent tips for maintaining my oral health. Genesis was also very pleasant and made sure I was comfortable throughout my X-Rays. The entire visit was not only efficient but also pleasant, which is a rarity when it comes to dental appointments. Highly recommend Tend to anyone looking for a top-notch dental experience.

I had a great experience here. Clean, modern office. Nice hygienist and dentist. Straightforward billing and no shadiness. Considering I hadn't been to the dentist in years because of a traumatic and shady experience at a dentist in Manhattan some time ago, this was such a nice change. Highly recommend! My experience was wonderful. Staff and dentists are all warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. I had questions regarding billing, but they addressed it professionally and quickly, which made me feel like they genuinely care about their patients. (Their customer care along with their dentists and oral surgeons are all so professional, caring and attentive!) This was my second time visiting and both times I experienced EXCEPTIONAL service. I did not wait more than 60 seconds to be taken tot the exam room. The hygienist was amazing and gentle. The office is modern and very clean. The receptionists are always pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be a regular. Anddddd they used my preferred name.

I love love loveddddd my experience! This was my first time and the place was gorgeous, clean. I was welcomed upon entry and helped right away. Everything felt personalized. I enjoyed being a part of the whole visit, I saw my X-rays right on the screen in front of me as they were being taken, I got to watch a show which I chose before hand while I had my cleaning done. The dentist explained every part of the exam and what she was doing, what she found. Best dental experience ever!
Tend dental is a spa for your teeth. I visited two days in a row this week and both times, the staff were welcoming, professional, and efficient. Every time I visit tend, I never have to wait, the staff is always on time. The entertainment system is so great, I have to remind myself I am in the chair for a procedure, not just to be entertained. For my 2nd visit, the email said the procedure would take 50 minutes, and that is exactly how long it took. Tend is truly the best dental office I have ever been to.

Best dentist ever. I have a rare condition that makes it hard for me to numb with local anesthetic. Dr. Silvia took her personal time to research my condition and adjust her technique to offer the best pain relief possible. This is the most caring thing a doctor has ever done for me.
As always, I received impeccable service and care at Tend Metro Center. The front desk staff, the lead hygienist, Tameka, and Dr. Tunji are always kind, accommodating and most importantly, competent. I just finished my Invisalign journey and my teeth are literally perfect. They were patient with me throughout the year-long process and I am overwhelmingly satisfied with the results.

Can I say, I’ve been to a bunch of dental offices and the Tend location on Capitol Hill is the best place. I’m sure the other tend offices are amazing as well but this was the only location I’ve been too and the front desk, hygienists and dentists are so kind and considerate. They always ask if I feel any pain or ask if I’d like to turn the channel to any particular show I’d like to watch while I get my cleaning. The tools they use are top of line and I have never had any issues with them working with my health insurance. I have Delta Dental and I’ve never needed to do any extra work to resolve any coding issues like I had to do in Hawaii and some offices in the DMV. When coming to see my family after the holidays I literally scheduled an appointment to see them. I now only trust them to work on my teeth. I had prior issues in the past with dental offices not related to Tend on Maple Lawn where I found that they were doing unnecessary fillings and went to this office the first time and they showed me my X-ray and said I didn’t need the fillings.
This was my first time at Tend, and I loved it! The entire process to book an appointment was super easy and seamless. They took my insurance and the entire visit was covered. The office was very clean, modern and nice! Said they’ve only been open in that location about 6 months. My dental hygienist Emily was very sweet and walked me through everything she was doing. We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.

Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
