Dr. Sung Nam
Dr. Sung Nam, DDS
Dr. Sung Nam brings a unique blend of precision, warmth, and global experience to every patient he treats. A graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Nam has practiced in South Korea, New York, and Connecticut, honing his skills in general, esthetic, and implant dentistry.
Dentistry runs deep in Dr. Nam’s roots—his father is an oral surgeon, and his mother is a prosthodontist. Growing up around two dental specialists gave him an early hands-on education and sparked his passion for the craft. Today, he’s known for his strong technical expertise in surgery, prosthodontics, and esthetic dentistry.
What truly sets Dr. Nam apart, though, is his patient-first approach. He loves getting to know the people behind the smiles and makes sure every visit feels personal, informative, and comfortable. Whether he’s restoring a confident smile or talking through a treatment plan, he brings care and clarity to every step of the process.

Dr. Lexis Philips
Dr. Lexis Philips, DDS
Dr. Lexis Philips brings a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach to dentistry that instantly puts patients at ease. She earned her dental degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive care and a deep appreciation for the impact a healthy smile can have on someone’s life.
Dr. Philips is passionate about helping patients feel confident and cared for—not just in the chair, but well beyond their visit. She takes the time to listen, explain, and make sure each person she treats feels empowered to take charge of their oral health.
When she’s not in the studio, you can probably find her staying up on the latest dental advancements or spending time with friends and family. Her goal is simple: to make going to the dentist feel a little less like a chore and a lot more like a self-care ritual.

Yes, we see elementary-aged children and offer gentle, age-appropriate care to help them build healthy habits and feel comfortable at the dentist.
To book an appointment for a child, please call us directly instead of using online booking. This helps us make sure we schedule the right type of visit with the right provider. Our team will walk you through everything and answer any questions you may have.
Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that you can’t get rid of with brushing and flossing alone—and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
