Miriam Scholes

Miriam Scholes serves as Chief People Officer at Tend, where she leads people strategy with a focus on fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and inclusion.

With more than 25 years of experience in human resources, Miriam has guided talent development and organizational transformation across a range of industries, from early-stage startups to large-scale enterprises.

Prior to Tend, Miriam was Chief People Officer at Royal Ambulance, a leading healthcare logistics provider in Northern California. There, she helped scale operations and strengthen company culture through strategic workforce planning and values-based leadership.

Miriam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and completed the Chief Human Resources Officer Program through Wharton Executive Education. She is known for her thoughtful, human-centric leadership style and her ability to align people and purpose in high-growth environments.

Outside of work, Miriam serves on the board of Meals on Wheels of Contra Costa, reflecting her deep commitment to community impact.
