The time between when I first made contact with Tend and when I had my custom night guard in my hand was 15 days, which has to be some sort of record. All for about half the price that other dentists in the area quoted me. The dentist and her hygienist/assistant were very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’m very grateful to Tend!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Dan Kim! He was incredibly personable and took the time to thoroughly explain my dental issue in detail. I’ve been dealing with a recurring problem that two other dentists couldn’t resolve. Even one of whom nearly cost me a significant amount of money. Thankfully, Dr. Kim was able to get me on the right track, saving me from unnecessary stress and expense. I’ve also struggled with teeth grinding for as long as I can remember. Other professionals brushed it off as stress with no real solutions, but Dr. Kim provided actionable steps to address it, and I’m so grateful. His patience, kindness, and genuine care made me feel confident enough to trust him completely. I’ll definitely be returning to Dr. Kim and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy dentist!
Just got a new implant and crowns done on my front teeth and I couldn't be happier with the result. They look great! I feel fortunate to have had this team with me through the whole process. Would recommend to anyone looking for high quality dental care combined with concierge service.
I have a ton of anxiety about these visits and have never been great with follow up but not this time. Everyone there does an amazing job of putting you at ease. The doctors are highly competent and compassionate as are all the assistants and hygienists that I’ve been lucky enough to meet. Really, it’s that good!
Great facility, all the stuff I love about Tend + the friendliest staff out of the three offices I've gone to. The receptionist today was super helpful and patient while I was figuring out my cards and took the time to walk me through a number of options for my root canal. Really appreciated her, the hygienist, and the doctor I saw.

I recently joined as a new patient. I got a cleaning, and then a few fillings shortly thereafter. My experiences have been amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming yet also professional, you get to watch TV while they're doing the work, the office is very modern and elegant, and I especially felt welcomed as a queer person. I’ve been to two cleanings with Tend and my experience each time has been wonderful! Everyone has been pleasant at each visit.The brushing room and complimentary toothbrush/toothpaste/floss pack are a nice touch. And my dental hygienist, Gabby, is so personable! She does a great job cleaning my teeth, has good suggestions for products and oral care routine, she’s very engaging and is overall lovely!
First visit at TEND Navy Yard and I was blown away from the experience. You’re greeted on site by a friendly receptionist and met with a beautiful modern lounge. You receive a gift for your inaugural visit which was a nice surprise and there’s an app to follow appointments and visit notes. In closing, I was sent to the back in a timely manner by 9:30a which was my appointment, the monitor screen was very personal and welcoming. The orthodontist was extremely friendly and answered all my questions, I look forward to my next visit. I found my new home.
From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, a class act! II thought it was going to be really expensive and someone hovering over me just ringing up the cash register. This was not the case. If you don't need it, they won't push it on you, however, they give you the option and pricing up front.
I went in for a regular checkup and the whole process was a breeze. They accepted my insurance and told me their costs prior to my appointment.
Can’t say enough positive things. Appointments were readily available to see me for an emergency visit, checkin was seamless and the host was super nice. In the treatment room the team showed excellent care and compassion and stayed a little longer to help me knowing my schedule was tight and I was leaving NY for two weeks. Can’t imagine this is regular service but super appreciated. Love the service and access to the care, the team were professional and super kind, and the facility (I’ve visited several locations) is/are super impressive. Not the old school dentist. This was my first experience with Tend and it was wonderful, start to finish! Everyone I spoke with was very amicable. My past dental visits have been traumatizing. Leading me to shy away from the dentist for over a decade. Quite the opposite at Tend, the setting was very comforting. I have some complicated dentistry ahead of me, but feel very at ease with Tend. Kiara, the dental assistant, was lovely. The dentist, can’t remember his name, was kind and wasn’t judgmental at all. Tend is a very soothing facility. Love the color decor and the ceiling TV. We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that you can’t get rid of with brushing and flossing alone—and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.

We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
