Dr. Eric Ho is the Lead Dentist at Tend’s Golden Triangle studio in Washington, D.C., where he brings a calm, compassionate approach to general dentistry. He earned his dental degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine, and has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.

I was extremely nervous upon arrival. Turns out I worried unnecessarily, My root canal which was performed by Dr. Alex was absolutely painless. He explained everything the treatment would entail prior to the procedure and I never experienced any discomfort during or after the procedure. The doctor, the hygeinist and the front desk personnel all worked together to make this a positive experience.
The office is a clean, modern aesthetic that makes you feel relaxed. Staff are super friendly, cleaning process felt smooth. Everyone is transparent with procedures and don’t shame you for your health. I look forward to future visits with them.

Tend dental is a spa for your teeth. I visited two days in a row this week and both times, the staff were welcoming, professional, and efficient. Every time I visit tend, I never have to wait, the staff is always on time. The entertainment system is so great, I have to remind myself I am in the chair for a procedure, not just to be entertained. For my 2nd visit, the email said the procedure would take 50 minutes, and that is exactly how long it took. Tend is truly the best dental office I have ever been to.
Tend walked me through all my teeth, literally one by one ;) they gave me a complete update. They gave my options of what I can do and what I needed to do: At the end they had a full Plan turned around within minutes to match what I agreed to get done. Their Moto when you sit “ this space was created for you “. That’s exactly the experience , everything they do is shown on the screen in front of you personalized with your own Results. I took my mother to this medical practice today, which was a refreshing change from our previous experiences. My mother, who doesn't speak English, often found it challenging to communicate at other clinics. However, this practice stood out by offering interpreter services, a feature we hadn't encountered elsewhere. This was a significant positive aspect for us. Additionally, I want to extend special thanks to the store manager, Leslie, and our hygienist Edith for her exceptional assistance throughout our visit.
Lately I’ve felt like true hospitality is lacking in Atlanta, but Tend always makes me feel at home. Staff at tend is friendly, attentive, and professional. I’ve never really had to wait long once I arrive for my appointment, and punctually for me it’s important. I’ve had a couple of different hygienists and they’ve both been awesome. Last week, I was seen by a new doctor and he made me feel like he had been seeing me for years. I would name him but I can’t remember his name. The aesthetic at Tend is also really chill, while still feeling like you’re at the dentist. Modern and young, but still with homage to your classic dentist’s office. I love being able to watch a show during my cleanings. The only time I’ve had an inconvenience was when a hygienist called out sick and my appointment got rescheduled, but they’re open on Saturday so it wasn’t the end of the world (and people get sick). So glad they accept my insurance and I definitely recommend this place if it’s available to you!
Have been seeing Dr Payriani for years. And he is lovely. Overall I’ve been to many tend locations. Always great service and easy to get into and schedule with. The shift lead took the time to help with a billing issue today and was very kind and thoughtful!

By far the best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone was friendly. The location was very clean. The staff was very informative and was able to answer any questions I had. The only issue I had was that it took an abnormally long time to verify my insurance coverage.
I give my experience with tend a 10 out of 10. From walking into a beautiful inviting space and getting useful welcome gift, to staff and practitioners using your preferred name, it immediately sets you at ease. I especially loved walking into the hygienist suite where the TV monitor showed my message “Hello Manna, we’ve prepared this suite just for you.“ Each person I encountered was kind and attentive to comfort needs. They thoroughly explained each step of the process for examining my teeth then the doctor’s consultation followed by the cleaning. I am so glad that my insurance plan is in network with Tend because there isn’t another place. I’d trust with my dental health.

The time between when I first made contact with Tend and when I had my custom night guard in my hand was 15 days, which has to be some sort of record. All for about half the price that other dentists in the area quoted me. The dentist and her hygienist/assistant were very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’m very grateful to Tend!
Outstanding experience! My appointment was on time and everything was explained to me before services were provided. I was especially impressed with their Lead Hygienist (Louis), who was incredibly thorough and a pleasure to deal with. He devoted his full attention to me and I felt like I was the only patient receiving care. So happy to have found a location that I will use as my regular dental provider. Definitely try them out - you'll love it there!

I have never been nervous about the dentist until a year ago before I was a Tend client and had a bad experience at another place. He put me at ease and the care I’ve received here is hands down the best of my life. Plus it feels like a spa.
Wasn’t looking forward to my root canal but Dr. Yu made it painless. Managed to go about my day right after the procedure. It’s been a few days since the procedure but so far so good. Also the Studio Manager, Neday was so extremely helpful. Thank you all.
I go to Tend in DC and honestly, it’s been the best dental experience I’ve had. Everyone there is super friendly and the whole place feels clean, modern, and calming. Dr. Soni is wonderful. She’s incredibly kind, gentle, and professional. I felt really taken care of, and she explained everything clearly without rushing. All of the staff at the Mosaic office were all so wonderful. They made sure I was comfortable and understand every step of the whitening process. Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that you can’t get rid of with brushing and flossing alone—and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
