I cannot say enough good things about the Tend Fenway location. All of the staff are so kind and helpful. The office is clean and beautiful, with warm and friendly people at the front desk and hygienists. All of the doctors are helpful and extremely nice. I went through Invisalign treatment here, and they were very accommodating no matter what schedule changes I had to make. 10,000 out of 10 place, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a dentist in Boston.

The staff at Tend are incredibly warm and welcoming. Yesenia, Donna, Liz, and Dr. Sophia made sure I was taken care of throughout my visit. This was my first time going here, and I will definitely be back. The facilities are clean and inviting as well. I also received the best cleaning I’ve ever had from Liz. My teeth looked immaculate afterward! Highly recommend.

This place was great. They gave you a free toothbrush and a reusable pouch before your appointment if you wanted to brush. Yesenia at the front was very attentive, and Elizabeth did my cleaning and X-rays. She was very quick and efficient.

Frequently asked questions
We're excited for your visit! Know what to expect at every step by checking out our FAQs, where you’ll find helpful information and tips for your appointment with our team at Tend Dental Fenway.
Yes, we’re currently accepting new patients at Tend Dental Fenway! Whether it’s been six months or six years since your last dental appointment, our team is here to make you feel at ease. We pride ourselves on creating a judgment-free environment where every patient is treated with empathy and respect.
Your first visit will include a comprehensive exam of your teeth, gums, and bite, a detailed review of your oral health, and time to talk through any concerns or goals you have. We’ll make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and fully supported from the moment you walk in.
We accept many dental insurance plans and can help you review how your coverage may apply to your care.
The insurers that we partner with include Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian, MetLife, United Concordia, Principal, Oxford Health Plans, and Ameritas.
You can securely pay your bill online with easy, encrypted options like HSA/FSA cards, credit or debit cards, Apple Pay/Google Pay, and more. Through our partner Cedar, you can view your insurance details, track balances, receive reminders, and even set up a custom 0% interest payment plan that fits your budget.
We also offer flexible financing through CareCredit, a healthcare-focused credit option that lets approved patients spread out their dental costs in convenient monthly payments, including for care not fully covered by insurance.
Before any treatment, we’ll clearly explain your expected costs and payment choices so you feel confident moving forward
We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues like early signs of decay or gum disease before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
Some patients might need more frequent visits, especially if they have a history of gum disease, use orthodontic devices like aligners, or tend to develop plaque easily. Your dentist will develop a tailored care plan suited to your specific needs, ensuring you receive the appropriate level of care when needed.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing alone can't remove, and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Your first visit is designed to be a warm and comprehensive experience. Here’s what it includes:
A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
Digital X-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional X-rays)
A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions without feeling rushed.
Our Tend Dental Fenway studio is designed with calm in mind. Allowing you to relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at (617) 203-8966. Please ensure you do so at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. We reserve that time exclusively for you, and due to high demand, we appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.
You can also log into your profile on the Tend Dental app to make any changes needed, including cancelling and rescheduling.

Flossing once a day is one of the simplest ways to protect your smile, but there’s a little more to it than just going through the motions. Here’s what dentists recommend, why it works, and how to make it part of your routine.
Choosing a dentist for your family is a decision that shapes how your kids will feel about dental visits well into adulthood, and how easy it is to maintain your family's oral health over time. So instead of asking, “Which dentist is closest?” a better question might be: Which one actually fits how we live?
What if feeling exhausted wasn’t just “part of life”? For many people, treating sleep apnea is a turning point. one that can lead to more consistent energy, clearer thinking, and a renewed sense of feeling like themselves again.
