Getting ready for your Invisalign appointment
- Your teeth may be tender for a few days. Shop ahead for softer foods like yogurt, pasta, soup (maybe even ice cream for a treat). And finish up your current stash of harder foods like raw veggies and chips.
- At first, you may feel your Invisalign trays getting in the way of your tongue when you talk. This is 100% normal, and most people adjust in about a week. If you're embarrassed about sounding a little different in the first few days of your treatment, you may want to avoid scheduling big meetings.
- Placing your first Invisalign aligner can take up to an hour, so make sure to leave plenty of room in your day.
- If you have neck or back problems, let us know before you come in, and we'll make sure you're comfortable.
- If you have any questions, just get in touch.
