What does a typical day/schedule look like for a dental hygienist at Tend?
A typical day for a dental hygienist at Tend Dental is designed to feel organized, collaborative, and patient-focused. While schedules can vary by studio and location, hygienists generally spend their day providing preventative care, educating patients, and helping create a comfortable, modern dental experience from start to finish.
Daily responsibilities may include performing cleanings, taking digital X-rays, documenting patient health information, supporting periodontal care, and partnering closely with dentists and studio teams to deliver seamless care. Can I reapply for a dental hygienist position at Tend if I’ve applied before?
Yes. We welcome returning applicants, especially if you’ve gained additional clinical experience and expanded your skills in the meantime.
If you previously applied for the same or a very similar hygienist position, we generally recommend waiting about six months before reapplying. That gives both you and our hiring team time to grow and reassess fit as new opportunities become available.

Our onboarding experience is built to help new team members feel confident, supported, and prepared from the start.
Every new hire receives structured, role-specific training focused on Tend Dental's philosophy of care, workflows, patient experience standards, and studio culture. Clinical team members also spend dedicated time training alongside experienced leaders before transitioning into a full patient schedule. For new studio launches, additional on-site support is provided during the opening period to help teams settle in smoothly.

What licenses or certifications do I need to apply to be a dental hygienist at Tend?
Requirements vary by role and state, but generally speaking, to be a dental hygienist with Tend, you must have an active hygiene license in the state you're applying to work in, plus current CPR/BLS certification.
