You should be perfectly fine to eat and drink whatever you want once the numbness goes away, and there's nothing special you have to do to take care of your teeth's newest neighbor.

Sometimes a filling can cause a little bit of sensitivity. This usually goes away after a couple of days. If an over-the-counter pain reliever doesn't do it for you, or if you're still uncomfortable after 48 hours, just get in touch.
