Dr. Jacob Parker
Dr. Jacob Parker brings precision, professionalism, and warmth to his role as a general dentist at Tend East Village. He earned his DMD from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine and served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care across a variety of patient populations.
With a focus on communication, comfort, and clinical excellence, Dr. Parker is dedicated to helping patients feel confident about their oral health. From preventive visits to restorative treatments, he provides a steady hand and clear guidance—ensuring your smile gets the care it deserves.
Dr. Fatihma Haidar
Dr. Fatihma Haidar is a general dentist at Tend’s East Village studio, where she delivers compassionate, thorough dental care tailored to each individual’s needs. She completed her dental training at West Virginia University Hospitals (Ruby Memorial Hospital), gaining clinical experience in both preventive and restorative dentistry.
Known for her calm demeanor and attention to detail, Dr. Haidar takes time to walk patients through their care and build trust at every visit. Definitely the most positive experience I’ve had at a dentist!! The nurse was so sweet and made sure to let me know everything we were going to be doing, and made sure that I was comfortable and not nervous about anything. Same for the dentist- he was very clear about my procedure and what to expect, and did not pressure me to go through with anything that made me nervous. The actual procedure also went perfectly. The woman at the front was also very clear and helpful with me about exactly how my treatment plan and payment would work. Cannot say enough good things about my experience here!!
One of the best experiences I’ve had since my childhood dentist. I hat a kind and loving staff all the way through !! The front desk is very welcoming, the Hygenist is so attentive and the Dentist is very informative and answers all questions. The televisions on the ceiling and offering moisturizer for the lips are such a nice nod to the care and comfort of the patients. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I recently joined as a new patient. I got a cleaning, and then a few fillings shortly thereafter. My experiences have been amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming yet also professional, you get to watch TV while they're doing the work, the office is very modern and elegant, and I especially felt welcomed as a queer person. Looking forward to coming back.
I have been extremely impressed by Tend especially this location! The staff here are very friendly and take the time to explain everything and teach how to improve your oral health. Now y'all gon see this review and think I'm lying. This has been the absolute best dental office and visit I have had. My hygienist Sierra was SO sweet and I had THE most painless and thorough cleaning I have ever had. They listened, they gave feedback, they let me watch 90 Day Fiancé during my gingivitis cleaning and gave me cute sunglasses to do so. They gave me a free toothbrush, toothpaste AND pouch and they have a cute area you can brush before your appointment if you’re coming from work like I was. No one made me feel embarrassed, no one made me feel less than, I was treated kindly and with dignity. Sierra continuously checked on with me and regularly reassured me I was doing well.
Have been seeing Dr Payriani for years. And he is lovely. Overall I’ve been to many tend locations. Always great service and easy to get into and schedule with. The shift lead took the time to help with a billing issue today and was very kind and thoughtful!
I booked my appointment online, put in my insurance info and found out how much I would have to pay for a cleaning (free!)... Then they went over my treatment plan and cost for getting my cavity filled (also free).
I had a great experience at tend midtown. Vanessa at the front desk is attentive and kind. The office is very clean and modern. I saw Dr.Franco for my treatment and she was attentive and courteous. Highly recommend this office
The entire team was amazing, but my hygienist, Jose Contreras, was particularly incredible. As someone with pretty severe dental anxiety, he went above and beyond to soothe any concerns I had, and had a great personality and sense of humor, too. Can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to my next cleaning. Thank you to the whole team!
Dr. Lina is awesome. She is very professional, kind and does beautiful work (I needed to have a crown replaced because of a cavity that had formed underneath). She tells you everything she is doing every step of the way and continually checks that you are okay. She has the loveliest, calmest bedside manner (a great dentist for all, but would be especially good for those who are very anxious about going to the dentist). Really I can't say enough good things about her, she is terrific. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have all been lovely as well, very kind and helpful, and the cleanings I have had have been really thorough. Overall a great experience!
Really positive experience. Beautiful aesthetically. Every detail was thought through. Got an appointment next day. Zero wait time. The staff and drs were thorough and very kind and put me at ease even though I was very nervous! They were transparent about billing, my insurance covered the visit, no weird bills later on. I wish all doctors offices were like this.
Best dental office experience I have ever had. HANDS DOWN. They have top of the line tech which made everything such a smooth experience, but mostly the staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and kind—from the front desk associate to the dentist all around great treatment. My dental hygienist, Kim was so attentive and you can tell he truly cares about his job. He went above and beyond to make sure my concerns were addressed even though I arrived a little late (someone give him a raise ASAP!!) Did not feel like they were pushy with any treatments that I may not need like other dentists. Truly will be a client for life.
I love love loveddddd my experience! This was my first time and the place was gorgeous, clean. I was welcomed upon entry and helped right away. Everything felt personalized. I enjoyed being a part of the whole visit, I saw my X-rays right on the screen in front of me as they were being taken, I got to watch a show which I chose before hand while I had my cleaning done. The dentist explained every part of the exam and what she was doing, what she found. Best dental experience ever!

I had a great experience at my cleaning today - the facility was clean and aesthetically pleasing, staff was amazing and their equipment was top notch. I received a welcome pouch with a tooth brush and toothpaste, custom tv sign, fun glasses to wear, beats headphones for my pre-selected show - truly and experience not expected at a dental office. I walked away with a thorough consultation and feeling excited for my next visit in 6 months!

Great facility, all the stuff I love about Tend + the friendliest staff out of the three offices I've gone to. The receptionist today was super helpful and patient while I was figuring out my cards and took the time to walk me through a number of options for my root canal. Really appreciated her, the hygienist, and the doctor I saw.
The staff are so kind. The doctors take the time to talk to you and explain things clearly as well present options to you to make you feel comfortable. I don’t like the dentist’s in general and I enjoy going to TEND every time. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
[My hygienist] really cared about my teeth and took the extra mile to properly clean it, take pictures, explain to them, answer my questions, and give me suggestions. I would usually be at the dentist for about 20-40 minutes at most, but I spent over an hour with her, and honestly, I think she did a 5-star job.

The Dentist I saw after my cleaning had an amazing "bedside manner". Checked me out, said all was good, asked if I had any questions, gave me some advice on some prior tooth issues. Your first visit will include a comprehensive exam, a detailed review of your oral health, and time to talk through any concerns or goals you have. We’ll make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and fully supported from the moment you walk in.
Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that you can’t get rid of with brushing and flossing alone—and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
